Engagement Shoot - Palm Springs - Cindy + Jamey

My good friend Dana Grant and photographer extraordinaire hooked me up with Cindy Green. Someone who looks just as stunning with makeup as she does without. Melody did the hair, I did the makeup and the wonderful Dana Grant did the photos. I can't wait for her wedding in October. She will be one beautiful bride!

It's Prom Season!

My Bestie, Natayla, hired me to do her little sisters makeup for her Senior Prom. Tayler wanted smokey eyes so she got some. She looked smoking hot too :)

Heather + Grayson Wedding~Crestmore Manor

Trash the dress= Taleah @ Crystal Cove

I finally got the opportunity to work with my friend who is also a wedding photographer, Pam Booher. She contacted me because she was doing a Trash the Dress shoot at Crystal Cove for a client and close friend of hers, Taleah Murray.

Pam had always wanted to shoot at Crystal Cove in the past but found it close to impossible to get a photography permit. After talking to several people and pulling a few strings...she finally got one with only hours to spare.

Taleah (the "Trash the dress" Bride) is not only stunning but smart and funny too. She has a great blog I follow called "Confession Mama" is honest and just plain great. Anyway the photos turned out amazing and Taleah is so beautiful she makes my makeup look good. And as you can see her family is beautiful too!

Jony and Emily=LOVE

Jony has been a dear friend of mine, almost like the little brother I never had since he was 12.  All who know him, love him!  And the same goes for his new bride, Emily.  What an amazing couple!  You could see the love they have for each other written all over their faces.  And what a beautiful bride Emily made.  My sister & hair designer, Melody did the hair for the bride & the whole wedding party & I did the makeup.  Below are some photos from their wedding day, courtesy of the amazing Dana & Jeremy Grant Photography.

Here is Emily's Bridal preview.  She wanted to go natural/vintage-ish.  And I think we got it!  She's got the most beautiful "doe" eyes!  I can't wait for her wedding day!

Christiana Head Shots

I had the extreme pleasure of doing the makeup for my little second cousin who is not so little any more.  She is getting into acting & modeling and needed some head shots so I got to do the makeup.  Of course these pictures wouldn't be complete without the help of Melody, who did the hair and Dana Grant who took these amazing shots:

1920's Wedding

This is Mary, she is such a sweetheart! She was one of the bridesmaids of a wedding I did and loved her makeup so much she hired me for another wedding she was in. yay!

Fun & Creative photoshoot with Dana Grant Photography.

It was a very busy weekend with a Bridal preview on Friday, a model photoshoot on Saturday and a TTD (trash the dress) session on Sunday, whhoooo, I am all makeuped out!

I had been studying and practicing for about two weeks prior to the shoot (view the blogs below) until I felt ready enough for our shoot.
Here are a few shots from the photoshoot. We took the pictures at a cool abandoned barn in Norco that Melody found, and this is what happend:

This is Shannon, showing off our "PUNK superhero" look. And man did she rock it!


I know this line is used all the time but this is totally the "blue steele" look from Zoolander.






This is Heavenly Joy (cool name) and we called this look "KISS groupie"
Here eyes were so blue that they were almost white.
